Dr. Pippa Wood creates a warm, non-judgmental space where individual’s feel comfortable to explore their thoughts and feelings. Pippa works collaboratively with you to understand and address various factors that may be negatively impacting your life.
Pippa graduated from City University, London in 2013 with a BSc Psychology (Hons) and subsequently completed her PhD in Psychology at Leeds Carnegie. She lectured for four years and has worked across health, corporate and sport settings.
Her practice is informed by attachment frameworks, ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), CBT (cognitive-behavioural therapy), and DBT (dialectical behavioural therapy). Pippa incorporates pragmatic evidence-based tools and strategies to help you navigate life’s inevitable challenges. With a background in health and sports psychology, Dr. Wood also has experience with disordered eating, body image issues, self-worth, and anxiety disorders.
