Karen is a compassionate psychologist with a wealth of experience working with children and families in Queensland schools. She is particularly interested in working with trauma, where, together with her clients, she works collaboratively to build a safe space where clients can feel heard, explore their challenges, and develop effective strategies for leading fulfilling lives.
Originally from London, Karen moved to Australia 20 years ago and quickly fell in love with our vibrant culture and strong sense of community. Her personal journey has profoundly influenced her professional approach. Having overcome cancer, she brings a unique understanding of the emotional and psychological impacts of serious illness. This experience fuels Karen’s passion for supporting individuals going through similar challenges and helping them find resilience, hope, and strength during difficult times.
