Bio
Ellie's love for practising yoga began when she was seventeen and a full-time dance student at Brent Street, Sydney in 1993. Yoga was taught by our contemporary dance teacher, not so much for flexibility as we had developed that as dancers, but to teach us to be truly at ease and effortless in our movements.
Since then, Ellie took many more classes with different teachers and completed her yoga teaching qualification where she enjoyed learning that there was so much more to yoga. She loves yoga philosophy, and how yoga can take your mind to another place where you feel much lighter and calmer.
Ellie enjoys teaching people of all levels, beginner to advanced. Remember, if you can breathe you can do Yoga. Just simple movements can be so therapeutic.
Ellie shares a traditional and holistic approach with a balanced practice of asana (posture), pranayama (breath), meditation, mantra, and relaxation.
